Janice Chow, MS, RD, is a San Francisco Bay Area-based Registered Dietitian and nutrition expert with over 12 years of experience in clinical and community wellness. Specializing in culturally-responsive and weight-inclusive care for Asians and Pacific Islanders, Janice has extensive expertise in supporting women’s health, including menopause and fertility nutrition. She empowers individuals to navigate hormonal changes through evidence-based strategies that prioritize mind-body health. Her work has been featured in media outlets like Real Simple, Good Housekeeping, and National Eating Disorder Association. During her leisure time, she enjoys traveling with her family.
Ms Anna Chan Talbot is an experienced Chinese Medicine Practitioner in gynaecology and oncology. She graduated with her BCM degree at the Chinese University of Hong Kong and accomplished her M.Phil degree Integrated Chinese and Western Medicine in Prevention and Treatment in Oncology at Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine. Anna completed her clinical training from some renowned masters of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). She also focuses on health care and disease prevention education, and she has participated in more than 50 talks and sharings for local communities in the past.
Kari supports busy professionals navigating life transitions and emotional challenges, including menopause. She specialises in helping women address anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, insomnia, and distress in relationships – both at home and in the workplace. With a compassionate and understanding approach, Kari creates a safe space for clients to explore their emotions and develop personalised strategies that foster resilience and wellbeing during this significant phase of life.
Dr Wong is a Specialist in Psychiatry. She is an Honorary Clinical Associate Professor of the Department of Psychiatry, School of Medicine, Chinese University of Hong Kong, and Honorary Clinical Assistant Professor of the Medical Ethics and Humanities Unit, LKS Faculty of Medicine, University of Hong Kong. Through her personal experience and clinical practice, she is informed in the biopsychosocail intersection between perimenopause, menopause and mental health. She endeavours to reduce stigma around mental health through public education.

Michelle is an HCPC-registered clinical psychologist with a doctoral degree in clinical psychology from University College London. She specialises in treating individuals across the lifespan who experience depression and anxiety disorders. Her clinical approach combines cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), as well as systemic and narrative therapies. Currently, Michelle and her colleagues are conducting research on menopause in Hong Kong, focusing on women's mental health and well-being during perimenopause to post-menopause. Their work emphasises psychological symptoms such as mood swings, anxiety, irritability, and cognitive changes associated with the menopausal transition.
Dr Wong received her PhD training in Psychiatry at The University of Hong Kong. Her research focus has been on the identification of less stigmatising, early risk and protective factors of various mental health problems in the population, with the hopes of designing more person-centred early intervention for all, bridging research and practice. Together with the team at HKU, she has been working closely with the UCL Menopause Mind Lab to examine the experiences of women during the menopause transition in Hong Kong, its associations with mental health, the plausible modifiable factors in this relationship, and importantly, possible evidence-based mental health support for women during this critical life stage.
Lena possesses a rich blend of experience in finance and social impact. She graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Marketing from Simon Fraser University in Canada and began her career as a financial analyst in Hong Kong. She subsequently worked at several asset management firms, specializing in serving high-net-worth individuals and institutional clients. To further enhance her professional expertise, she obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
After the birth of her first child, Lena chose to dedicate her first few years to her family. This life transition eventually led her into the social innovation space, where she founded Hong Kong Momtrepreneurs—a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting mothers in their entrepreneurial journeys. Later, she also established Womentors, an initiative aimed at fostering better workplace environments for companies and professional women. Alongside running her consultancy business,, she led pre-career initiatives for 100 Women in Finance in Hong Kong.
Over the years, Lena has developed a strong passion for sustainability, particularly in the areas of gender equality, diversity, and inclusion. She actively contributes as a committee member and advisor to several organizations, including the Hong Kong Association of Business and Professional Women and Good Seeds, among others.
As a mother of two girls, Lena is deeply committed to building a more empathetic and grateful world for the next generation. In her free time, she enjoys sharing a cup of coffee or a glass of wine with friends and remains an eager lifelong learner.
Christine Deschemin brings a unique blend of scientific rigor and compassionate care to women's health and wellness. As a certified hypnotherapist, executive coach, and founder of EverCalm, she has dedicated her career to empowering women through evidence-based digital health program.
With an MBA from Harvard Business School and a diverse professional background spanning aerospace engineering and investment banking, Christine combines analytical expertise with deep empathy for women's experiences. Her unconventional journey from rocket scientist to wellness advocate reflects her commitment to innovation and problem-solving in healthcare.
Christine's pioneering work with EverCalm Menopause addresses the critical gap in menopause support through scientifically-backed digital interventions. Her programs integrate clinical hypnotherapy, mindfulness techniques, and behavioral coaching to help women navigate menopause with confidence and vitality.
Based between Hong Kong and France, Christine leverages her multicultural perspective to create inclusive wellness programs that resonate with diverse women worldwide. Her work bridges Eastern and Western approaches to health, offering holistic solutions that honor both traditional wisdom and modern science.
Dr. Sofie Yung graduated from the University of Hong Kong in 2007. Between 2012 and 2015, she attained the Member of Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG, UK), the Fellow of Hong Kong Academy of Medicine (Obstetrics and Gynaecology), and the Fellow of Hong Kong College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FHKCOG). After receiving the Hong Kong College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists Subspecialty Certificate in Reproductive Medicine in 2018, she officially became a subspecialist in reproductive medicine.
In 2008-2022, Dr. Yung has been working in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the University of Hong Kong and Queen Mary Hospital, where she gained substantial clinical experience. She also worked in the University of Hong Kong Shenzhen Hospital in 2018-2022, where she gained the experience of providing assisted reproductive treatment in Mainland China. Currently, she is Clinical Assistant Professor of Practice in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the University of Hong Kong, mainly responsible for teaching and training of medical students and junior doctors. Dr. Yung is also an honorary associate consultant at Queen Mary Hospital and Princess Margaret Hospital.
Academically, Dr. Yung is actively involved in research and has published papers in several international journals. Her research areas include assisted reproductive technology, miscarriage, and fertility preservation. Besides her clinical and research work, Dr. Yung also dedicated to the affairs of the Hong Kong College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and is currently a member of its Reproductive Medicine Subspecialty Board.

Dr. Jennifer Mak graduated from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2007. She attained the Member of Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG), Fellow of Hong Kong College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FHKCO), and the Fellow of Hong Kong College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FHKAM-O&G) in 2013 and 2015, respectively. After receiving the RCOG Subspecialty Certificate in Reproductive Medicine in 2018, she officially became a specialist in reproductive medicine.
Dr. Mak has extensive clinical experience in obstetrics, gynecology, and reproductive medicine. Since 2008, she has served as a resident and honorary resident in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology of Hong Kong Kwong Wah Hospital and The Prince of Wales Hospital. She also pursued further training abroad, serving as an honorary clinical fellow at the Assisted Conception Unit of Guy’s and St Thomas’s Hospital in London, UK.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Mak has translated her experience into various research projects. Her research areas include embryo implantation, fertility preservation techniques, infertility, viral diseases and reproduction, and the impact of traditional Chinese medicine on male infertility. She has published over ten journal papers.
Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Mak has been involved in teaching at the Faculty of Medicine, the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) since 2015. She was appointed as an associate professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 2015 and is currently an honorary associate professor of practice in reproductive medicine at CUHK.

Now based in Hong Kong, Sarah is a member of the Hong Kong Dietitian Association and focuses on areas such as diabetes, heart disease, obesity, liver disease, improving gut microbiota, IBD, IBS, menopause, women's health, and pregnancy.
